New Hope Baptist Church has traditionally celebrated July 4th with a lot patriotic fanfare. I wanted to still celebrate America and the freedoms we are offered, but direct the narrative more towards celebrating who we are in Christ, the diversity in America and at New Hope. After hearing the powerful song "Image of God" by We are Messengers, I knew it was the song we needed to use for the video. My team and I then shot video over a few Sundays at the 3 different campuses of New Hope. I created all the lyrics and After Effects and then edited it all together.
